Hello, amazing FIT CHICKS! ๐Ÿฅ December is here, and you know what that means โ€“ it’s Tabata Month for FIT CHICKS Fridays! ๐ŸŽ„โœจ We’re kicking off the festivities with a Tabatas – Slider Edition, bringing a unique twist to your workout routine. Grab your sliders or a hand towel and let’s slide into strength, one Tabata at a time! ๐ŸŒŸ

Why Sliders?

  1. Dynamic Stability: Sliders add an element of instability, engaging stabilizing muscles throughout the movements, and challenging your balance and core strength.
  2. Smooth Movements: The gliding motion of sliders allows for smooth, controlled movements, reducing impact on joints and promoting fluidity in exercises.
  3. Versatile Workouts: From core exercises to leg workouts, sliders can be incorporated into various exercises, making them a versatile tool for a full-body workout.
  4. Intensity Boost: Sliders require additional effort, intensifying your workout and maximizing the benefits in a shorter amount of time.

FIT CHICKS Friday Tabatas – Slider Edition: December Delight!

This week’s workout features four exercises, performed for 20 seconds with 10 seconds of rest between each. Repeat the circuit twice for 4 minutes of festive and fierce tabata fun!

  1. Slider Plank Knees to Chest: Engage your core and feel the burn as you slide your knees towards your chest in a plank position.
  2. Slider Lateral Lunge: Glide into a lateral lunge, targeting your inner and outer thighs while challenging your stability.
  3. Slider Glute Bridge: Lift those glutes with a sliding motion, activating your hamstrings and glutes for a powerful bridge.
  4. Slider Mountain Climber + Push-Up: Combine cardio and strength with this dynamic combo, sliding through mountain climbers and adding a push-up for an extra challenge.
  5. Repeat 1-4

How to Crush the Slider Edition:

  1. Perform each exercise for 20 seconds.
  2. Resting for 10 seconds between each exercise.
  3. Complete the circuit twice for a December workout delight (4 minutes)!
